You will also visit Old Fort Lauderdale Village to see the oldest hotel built in 1905, New River Inn, which houses the Museum of History and was the first building in Broward County to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places; the 1905 Philemon Bryan House, a four-square Vernacular style house; 1905 Acetylene Building, which produced acetylene gas to light the New River Inn; and the 1907 King-Cromartie House Museum, which belonged to one of the first pioneer families in Fort Lauderdale. The site also includes a replica of the first Broward County school house and the Hoch Heritage Center. The 90 minutes adventure is fully interactive and narrated by our most funniest DUCKtainers. Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center. About the Ducks: The Hydra Terra is 39' long and 8' feet wide and has a seating capacity of 45 to 49 passengers. The vehicles are powered by a 300hp 7.2 liter Caterpillar Diesel Engine, electronic steering , Allison heavy-duty transmission. On land, they can travel up to 65 miles per hour and require drivers to hold a Class "B" CDL License with passenger endorsement issued by the Florida Department of Transportation. By sea, the Hydra-Terra travels at 6 knots and must be operated by a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain. The vessels are equipped with adults and children life jackets as well as fire extinguishers per requirements of the U.S. Coast Guard. Tour does not include hotel pick up.
